International Commercial Law and Arbitration

Discourage litigation. Persuade your neighbors to compromise whenever you can. As a peacemaker the lawyer has superior opportunity of being a good man. There will still be business enough.

Enforcing court judgements remains a problematic issue even for such a close-knit society as the European Union. The main reason for this is the lack of bilateral international agreements that would govern such judgements for any two member states.

The international commercial arbitration is the only legal technique for dispute resolution that is generally easier to enforce by virtue of the New York Convention 1958. It can also be a faster, cheaper and more flexible alternative solution for businesses.

We not only conduct seminars that would explain the generally accepted rules of arbitration practice but we are also proud to offer approved qualification courses, in English and in Russian, which would allow you to improve and test your knowledge in an examination by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, in a bid to qualify for a Member of the CIArb (title of MCIArb)
