We are delighted to announce the 10th Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Membership Qualification Seminar organised by Capital Business Events Limited in conjunction with the Institute, with support from the Anglo-Russian Law Association (ARLA).
Seminar participants will have a unique opportunity, through a specially developed programme of oral tests, discussions and written exams in Russian and English, to qualify for membership of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Successful attendees will become Members of the Institute. CIArb Members may add the acronym MCIArb after their name and this status is recognised throughout Europe as a higher legal distinction.
The main themes of the issues to be reviewed:
- 1. Arbitration and other dispute resolution options in Austria, Russia and UK.
- 2. Comparative analysis of arbitration laws.
- 3. Commercial law principles in Austria, Russia and UK.
- 4. Arbitration procedures and arbitration awards and other topics.

Registration for this Seminar is selective. To qualify please contact us with your professional CV. Upon registration, every attendee will receive a list of literature for preparatory reading as well as a topic for an assay to be completed prior to the Seminar (this can be written in Russian).

Practicing lawyers, heads of legal departments of major multinational companies, law consultants and other legal professionals who are involved in arbitration (domestic or international) and who wish to increase their knowledge and understanding of international commercial arbitration.
