A 2nd International Law Conference themed as 'Commercial Arbitration in Russia, Sweden and England: New Business Opportunities' took place in Moscow on 9 and 10 June.

To discuss the most relevant and pressing issues in commercial arbitration there gathered leading personages of the law industry, distinguished lawyers, solicitors, government officials as well as heads of legal functions of such major companies as Transneft, TNK BP Management, Gazflot, Gazprom Pererabotka, Moscow Oil Refinery, Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, IES Holding and many others.

For the first time in the history of this popular MCIArb course the full member status was awarded to all candidates.

The latest annual MCIArb course in the series took place in Moscow between 11 and 13 November. The results of the attendance and the final exams have now been processed and the Examining Committee of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators made a unique decision to award the title of a full Member of the CIA (MCIArb) to all participants.
